2025 was massive for me, and I didn’t get a chance to sit down and think properly about Origami Graphics’ upcoming work til the 2026 holiday break came around. As I sit here preparing for the new year – tidying up loose project ends from 2025, setting my new prices in, and recharging my creative energy – I’m thinking about the branding and website design client projects I’d really love to take on in 2026.
If any of the below are you, get in touch. I’ll do your project at a discounted flat rate, since the work will be personally fulfilling for me and having your industry in my portfolio is a huge win.
You can also read more about my website design packages – as well as the usual prices – here.
#1: Website Design, Menu Design, and Cookbook Layout for Chefs, Cafes and Restaurants
I am the biggest foodie I know, but my current portfolio does not reflect this. I’m sick of just scrolling through beautiful websites and menus while looking for my next brunch or dinner out – I want to be the one to design it this time!
Who’s ideal for this?
Small Aussie cafes, restaurants (especially modern Australian and Italian restaurants), wineries and cellar doors, artisan bakeries, independent bars, izakayas, speakeasies, anywhere serving gin, boutique Canberra or South Coast function venues, and other small local eateries working with thoughtful menus and fresh produce.
What’s the price?
- Template-based Squarespace website design for cafes and restaurants: Flat-rate $3000 including GST (save $1000) for a five-page, semi-custom Squarespace website beginning from a template hand-picked for you; your branding, colours and styling applied; two rounds of client revision; connection of third-party booking software such as OpenTable; SEO best practice setup; first year’s hosting value $300 covered by me; domain connection and DNS sorted.
- Completely custom Squarespace or WordPress website design for cafes and restaurants: Flat-rate $4500 including GST (save about $2000-$2500) for a five-page, completely-custom-from-scratch website designed in Figma and then built on Squarespace or WordPress with page builder; two rounds of client revision; connection of third-party booking software such as OpenTable; SEO best practice setup; first year’s hosting value $300 covered by me; domain connection and DNS sorted.
- Cookbook or menu layout, design, and print setup: Quoted at $85/hour including GST, which is $10 lower than my lowest hourly rate as of 2026.
Does that sound like you?
If you’re a hospitality business owner and want a website design or layout job, please get in touch, write me a little about your business and food philosophy, and let me know you saw the deal for cafe and restaurant graphic design in my blog post. Spots are open from February 2026, and the project will take between 2-8 weeks depending on whether you want the template-based website design or the custom one. Cookbook and menu price and turnaround times will be dependent on page count. If you need branding too, I would recommend pairing one of the above with my Basic Logo Package (that wasn’t meant to be a wine joke, but I’m gonna run with it).
#2: Branding and Website Design for Psychologists and Psychiatrists
You might have already guessed from my psychology degree, but mental health is one of my life passions – even more so since losing a family member to suicide in 2025. I’d love to help a local psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, or other mental health professional get a website up and running, and to start (or grow) a counselling offering from their own practice in 2026.
Who’s ideal for this?
Psychologists and psychiatrists in Canberra who are opening their own small business and need a website. Interstate psychology professionals will also be considered for this package – please send me a message and ask!
Note that these websites will be going a little cheaper than the hospitality ones, just because it’s more likely that these clients will be individuals instead of big teams, and won’t have long pages or downloadables like dinner menus to design. Medical websites tend to be pretty light and compact, with the third-party booking software handing the technicals.
What’s the price?
- Reduced-rate Complete Business Branding Package for psychologists: Flat-rate $4500 including GST(save $2400). Get my biggest logo and branding offering including custom logo and graphics, custom letterheads and business cards delivered to your office, a social media template package, a massive corporate style and branding guide, SEO recommendations, and $750 in website credit, for $2400 less than my usual base price.
- Template-based Squarespace or WordPress website design for psychologists: Flat-rate $2800 including GST (save $1200) for a five-page, semi-custom, Squarespace website beginning from a template hand-picked for you; your branding, colours and styling applied; two rounds of client revision; first year’s hosting value $300 covered by me; booking software installed and configured if applicable; SEO best practice setup; domain connection and DNS sorted.
- Completely custom Squarespace or WordPress website design for psychologists: Flat-rate $4300 including GST (save about $1700-$2200) for a five-page, completely-custom-from-scratch website designed in Figma and then built on Squarespace or WordPress with page builder; two rounds of client revision; first year’s hosting value $300 covered by me; SEO best practice setup; booking software installed and configured if applicable; domain connection and DNS sorted.
And yes! If you go for the Complete Branding Package, I’ll apply your $750 in website credit to those reduced-price website packages, too. As long as you qualify, you can stack up on these offers – you don’t just have to pick one.
Does that sound like you?
Please get in touch, write a little about your business and area of specialty, and let me know you saw the deal for psychology website designs in my blog post. Spots are open from February 2026, and website projects will take between 2-6 weeks depending on whether you want the template-based website design or the custom one. The branding package is huge and will take about 10 weeks on its own.
#3: Branding, Concept Design, and Websites for Indie Game Studios
I did the branding for Studio Drydock in 2020, and wish I had more gamer clients!! I get the most incredible kick out of opening Wylde Flowers on the Switch (where I’ve racked up 100 play hours and married Westley twice, btw), and seeing my paper boat logo splash over the screen. Currently neck-deep in Outer Wilds, and with Undertale still ranked as my all-time-fave game, I love playing indie games and want to do more work for game studios to help them attract big investors like Apple to their projects.
Who’s ideal for this?
I’ll happily work for any game studio – but because I’m a contractor, small independent video game startups are more likely to need me. While Aussie game studios are preferenced (cause I want to support our local entertainment industry, and Melbourne in particular keeps pumping out great stuff – I’m looking at you House House with Untitled Goose Game!), I’ll also consider international game developers who want to build their offering and can’t yet afford full-time artists and design staff.
What’s the price?
- Concept and Character Design for game studios: $85/hour including GST, which is $10 lower than my lowest hourly rate as of 2026.
- Reduced-rate Standard Start-Up Branding Package for game studios: $2200 including GST(save $1000) for three custom-designed-from-scratch, researched, and strategic logo concepts with unlimited revisions; full client copyright ownership; vector and working files supplied; and a brand sheet with all your business fonts and colour codes.
- Custom Website Design and Build for game studios: Flat-rate $5000 including GST (save $2500) for a five-page, completely-custom-from-scratch website designed in Figma and then built on WordPress with page builder; two rounds of client revision; first year’s hosting value $300 covered by me; SEO best practice setup; domain connection and DNS sorted.
- Custom Website Design (Design Only) for game studios: Flat-rate $2900 including GST(save about $1000) for me to just design the five-page website in Figma with two rounds of client revision. Then, you can take the files and your team of devs can actually build the website themselves.
Does that sound like you?
Please get in touch, write about your studio and what game/s you’re working on, and let me know you saw the deal for game studio website designs in my blog post. Spots are open from February 2026, and website projects will take between 4-10 weeks depending on whether you want the website design only or the full design and build. The Standard Start-Up branding package takes 5 weeks, and concept and character design will be negotiated depending on how much work you think you’ll need.
I don’t fit into any of these categories! Can I still get a cheaper deal on branding or web design?
Look, it’s unlikely – sorry!
From about April 2024 to now, I’ve been through the ringer with client demand and barely been able to catch a break from constant work (which is why my portfolio hasn’t been updated). I’ve raised my rates for a reason, and I can’t be giving out discounts willy-nilly – it’s bad for business and my sanity.
However, if you *almost* fit into one of the above categories and are unsure if you’d qualify, send me a message anyway and maybe we can work something out. It may well be that your business excites me and I think the possibilities are worth moving ahead with under one of these deals. This is most likely if your business is creative, vibrant, and making ethical impacts – think along the lines of T2, Lush, Oatly, Thankyou.
And regardless – I’d still love to work with you, even if it’s on my full rate! The benefit of working with a freelancer like me is that we’ll often be up to 60% cheaper than an agency, even on our full prices – we just don’t have the same level of overheads to pay, and the payment packages are nice and lean. So even if you’re paying full price to work with me, the odds are that you’re getting great value on your design project.
That’s it for now. Manifesting some dream clients – let’s smash it this year!
