What's the process for annual report design?

  1. You get in touch for a quote.
  2. I develop the quote and prospective contract for you, by looking at the page count and graphic requirements of your report.
  3. If you decide to go ahead, you accept your quote, agree to your contract, and pay a 35% deposit.


    Then… design begins.

  4. We collaborate back and forth over email, over the phone, and/or in person with a coffee discussing rounds of design concepts applied to a small section of the annual report document.
  5. You choose the design you like, and I apply that look and feel to the rest of the document over the following few weeks.
  6. 1-2 extra rounds of revision are undertaken for further changes, and if you’re still happy with progress, your interim payment will be due.
  7. Final changes are made and the document is signed off by you.
  8. You pay the final installment of your project fees while I package up the finished annual report for print and web.
  9. Your annual report package is delivered to you digitally, print-ready and in high resolution. If you need, I can even help you arrange the printing, too.

Your Investment for Annual Report Design

Origami Graphics offers three different rates for annual report design, plus value considerations.

The design process usually takes between 20 and 100 hours, depending on the complexity and page count of the document. So, expect a minimum investment of $1000 for a very small, simple annual report for a not-for-profit or charity; and a maximum investment of $10000 or more for a very long, complex, graphically-rich annual report for a large for-profit organisation that’s aspiring to secure or maintain significant funding.

The majority of annual reports I design for medium-sized companies and organisations are between 30 and 100 pages long, and fall between $3000 and $7500.
